Engineer – Rotating Equipment

BASIC FUNCTION
Direct the work of personnel in his charge; administer requisitions for maintenance supplies, special tools and equipment, maintain history records of equipment. Co-ordinate work functions of subordinate staff. Monitor work places under his jurisdiction to ensure safe working conditions. Organize / Implement predictive / Preventive / Break down maintenance of all equipment under his jurisdiction to meet maintenance goals,A. Planning of major overhauls on critical equipment and direct subordinate staff.
B. Assist in Preparing forecast report for spares, special tools and manpower.
C. Carry out equipment reliability studies and performance evaluation.
D. Analyze and monitor the performance efficiency of the work and prepare failure analysis report as required
E. Be able to make quick and sound decisions and to decide on necessity to replace or repair parts.
F. Be capable of group communication to direct and control work he is responsible for.
G. Preparation various monitoring forms, minutes, reports, letters etc.
