Job Summary:
The Front Office Associate is the first point of contact for guests and visitors at a hotel, resort, or other hospitality establishment. They play a key role in providing a warm and welcoming experience for guests by managing the front desk, handling check-ins and check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Services:
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and reservations.
- Address guest inquiries, special requests, and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.

2. Front Desk Operations:
- Operate the front desk, including handling phone calls, emails, and in-person requests.
- Manage room assignments and allocations.
- Maintain guest records and ensure that all registration information is accurate.

3. Payment and Billing:
- Handle guest billing and payment processes accurately.
- Assist guests with questions about their bills and resolve any discrepancies.

4. Information and Assistance:
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.
- Assist guests in arranging transportation, booking tours, or making restaurant reservations.

5. Safety and Security:
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and property by following established protocols.
- Handle emergency situations and communicate effectively with guests during such events.

6. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as handling mail, filing, and keeping records.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using front office software, booking systems, and reservation platforms.
- Polite and professional demeanor with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Multitasking ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Working Conditions:
Front Office Associates work in a hotel or hospitality setting. They often work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 front desk coverage.
