The ideal candidate has and the position requires experience designing the electrical systems of Data Centre Facilities. The position requires experience with the design of the appropriately d Generators, Switchgear, UPS Systems, transformers, PDU's and other Mission Critical equipment requiring electrical design skills incorporating reliability and redundancy in design. The Electrical Engineer applies diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. The position requires use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in individual's field. Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. The individual should be able to develop test procedures and support the commissioning of electrical equipment. A minimum of 8-10 years of electrical engineering experience is appropriate. Registration as a licensed PE is usually required for this classification.

• Responsible for design and planning of electrical power systems for mission critical Datacentre projects.
• Responsible for design and specifications of power and control systems, system layouts, load calculations, equipment sizing and selection, performing calculations of lighting systems and associated controls for assigned projects.
• Assist with PM and oversight of Team to ensure projects are meeting deadlines.
• Interface with code officials and contractors, working with architects and other clients.
• Communicate with Clients and other MEP and AEC disciplines.
• Work closely with the mission critical team globally.
• Provide thought leadership on Mission Critical designs
• Capable of concepting electrical system topology
• Responsible for driving the bulk of design work.
• Oversee design/production staff.
• Lead project/client pursuits/proposals.
• Manage Vendor & Client relationships.
• Must be willing to travel approximately 25%.
