'The Data Quality assurance engineer would be responsible to write testing plans and routines, manage continuous integration and regression testing processes, and be the point of contact for clearing data for release according to delivery specifications. The engineer must be able to function effectively in a high-volume, rapid delivery environment.
We are looking for someone who considers themselves to be an excellent team player with a positive attitude. This will play a critical part in supporting the Program team to continue its journey to develop its data platform on next generation technologies.
The person will be also involved in building out data quality assurance capabilities within the account, helping shape an offshore wider team.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Work with development leads and Data Engineers to create testing strategies
• Define, build, automate, execute testing for code in an agile practice and according to sprint planning
• Design, monitor and maintain QA reports, KPIs & quality trends for the internal data systems
• Design and build test automation framework for data pipelines.
• Execute and automate test cases and perform bug tracking
• Help create and implement quality processes and requirements.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Prior experience in QA and testing (data, regression, automation, defects)
• Working knowledge of a testing framework
• Strong SQL skills to carry out data validations from Source to Destination. Strong knowledge on Unix / Linux.
• Hands-on experience on ETL Testing and experience in Python to develop the Framework that can introduce automation and efficiency in test execution.
• Hands-on experience of testing in system, integration testing phases.
• Should be able to handle the incrementation data testing and improve the test execution time
• Strong Exposure to Testing end to End process, experience in QC/ALM an Jira.
• Creation of Test Plan/ completion documents, project timelines, and execution of multiple projects.
• Provide leadership through all phases of project life cycle including scope definition and gathering business requirements
• Conduct consumers regression testing by using subscriptions (reports) to identify the mismatched result before PRE and POST deployment
