Job Description : As a Chair Mechanic at JKKN Dental College and Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our state-of-the-art dental facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing dental chairs and related equipment, contributing directly to the high-quality patient care and education that our institution is known for.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of dental chairs, units, and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to uphold equipment functionality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with dental staff and administrators to address equipment-related concerns and prioritize repair needs.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and spare parts inventory.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and technological developments in dental equipment maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or equivalent relevant technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a chair mechanic, dental equipment technician, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of dental chairs, units, and associated components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and standards in equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices related to dental equipment is
    desirable.
