L2 Engineer CCTV EACS

System Design and Integration:
Collaborate with clients and project managers to design comprehensive CCTV and Card Access Control systems tailored to specific security requirements.
Lead the integration of security systems with other technology infrastructure.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex issues related to CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Access Control devices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 Technicians in complex problem-solving scenarios.
Technology Assessment:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the security industry, evaluating their potential for integration into existing systems.
Conduct technology assessments and make recommendations for system enhancements.
Project Leadership:
Lead technical aspects of security system projects, including planning, execution, and quality assurance.
Provide technical expertise during project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Client Consultation:
Act as a subject matter expert in client consultations, understanding their business needs, and providing recommendations for advanced security solutions.
Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on advanced system functionalities.
Documentation and Reporting:
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system diagrams, technical specifications, and project reports.
Generate comprehensive reports on system performance, upgrades, and enhancements.
Collaboration and Training:
Collaborate with Level 1 Technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
Develop and deliver training programs for technical staff to enhance their skills in CCTV and Card Access Control systems.
Service Level Support:
Be ready to take on maintenance tasks when assigned/ rostered as part of a 24/7 stand by team.

Requirements:
Education: Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience; industry certifications are highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of [5 years] of progressive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CCTV and Card Access Control systems.

Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Access Control devices.
Proficiency in network protocols, cybersecurity principles, and advanced system integration techniques.
Experience with leading brands and models in the CCTV and Access Control market such as Genetec, Milestone, Hikvision, Hanwha, HID, etc
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership: Proven leadership experience in guiding technical teams and leading security system projects.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks related to system installation and maintenance.
