Job description
OBJECTIVE To develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.

You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

 Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

 Create and implement detailed test cases for functional, unit, performance, security, and scalability testing well-structured test plans and test cases

 Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

 Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

 Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

 Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Independently create automated test scripts with cucumber in Selenium using java

Analyze results and provide defect reporting.

 Debug and resolve issues in automated scripts by reading logs and other output.

 Detect and minimize bugs, errors, technical, security, and functional flaws in the applications as well as outline steps for minimizing the same

 Should have exposure to API testing and should be able to use Postman.

 Suggest new tools and techniques to improve test efficiency Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 4 - 10 years

QUALIFICATION BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

TARGET INDUSTRIES

 Companies operating in the m-commerce space

 Companies operating in the e-transactions space

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

 Good in Web & Mobile automation testing.

Fluency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Jmeter, Appium, Cucumber, etc.

Hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing should be more than 2 years.
