Responsibilities:

. FUNCTIONAL & CONCEPT BENCHMARKING OF SUSPENSION, VEHICLE BODY (VEHICLE, SYSTEM & PARTS) OF COMPETITION VEHICLES.

.STUDY OF SUSPENSION, BRAKES, STEERING & BODY SYSTEMS/ PARTS & INTEGRATION WITH OTHER SYSTEMS.

.COST & WEIGHT ANALYSIS, PERFORMANCE CORELATION WITH DESIGN.

.PREPARATION & RELEASE OF BENCHMARKING SHEETS & ANALYSIS REPORTS.

.ANALYSIS OF BENCHMARKING IDEAS FOR IMPLEMENTATION IN MSIL MODELS.

.STUDY OF UPCOMING TECHNOLOGIES THROUGH BENCHMARKING & WORKING WITH ENGINEERING TEAMS.

.ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS & PROPOSE COUNTERMEASURES FOR DESIGN/ QUALITY ISSUES.

Technical/ Functional:

HANDSON EXPERIENCE IN ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT OF SUSPENSION & BODY

COMPONENTS (FOR PASSENGER CARS & UVS)

.UNDERSTANDING OF:

1.VEHICLE LAYOUT, SYSTEMS/ PARTS CONTRIBUTING TO CHASSIS & BODY PERFORMANCE.

2.DESIGN & VALIDATION OF SUSPENSION & BODY PARTS IN OWN WORK AREA.

(ASSEMBLY, COMPONENTS AND INCLUDING PERIPHERALS)

3.WORKING & FUNCTIONALITES OF SUSPENSION, BRAKES, STEERING SYSTEMS.

4.APPLICABLE REGULATIONS RELATED TO SUSPENSION & BODY PARTS.

5.MANUFACTURING & ASSEMBLY PROCESSES OF SUSPENSION & BODY PARTS.

.DEVELOPMENT PROJECT HANDLING

.UNDERSTANDING OF INDIAN AUTOMOBILE MARKET & CUSTOMER VOICE

.DESIRABLE: RIDE, HANDLING & BRAKING (RHB) TESTING

.DESIRABLE: SYSTEM / COMPONENT BENCHMARKING.
