Job description
A Indian-based company that is developing an efficient platform and public marketplace for business bonds, is looking for a Technical Engineering Manager. The selected candidate will be tasked with facilitating the collaboration between engineers and designers.This position requires some overlap with the EST/IST time zone and will be a full-time, long-term role.Â

Job Responsibilities:

ï¬Work with the product and tech team to architect and develop a platform to trade the company's bondsÂ
ï¬Develop the secondary market taking into account contingent technology-dependent product features in line with the go-to-market plan
ï¬Build two new payments systems – one for the primary market, and the other for the secondary market
ï¬Work across a cross-functional team to integrate more product virality into the company's product-technology stack
ï¬Work with the team to develop a product roadmap to accomplish goals
ï¬Manage the day-to-day project tasks of the engineering team

Job Requirements:
Â
ï¬Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
ï¬At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineerÂ
ï¬Must have extensive experience in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Java
ï¬At least 8+ years of experience in technology development and/or architecture
ï¬Demonstrable experience managing a team of back-end and front-end engineers
ï¬Solid experience building iOS and Android products are preferredÂ
ï¬Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
ï¬Proficient knowledge of development best practices
Experience designing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure
