LIVEr (short for live-streamer) is a Silicon Valley-based startup reinventing food discovery with AI, video, and live streaming. Our platform leverages AI-driven content discovery and short videos to let users explore and order food from restaurants, home-kitchens and stores.

Having raised $1.6M in pre-seed funding, we're rapidly developing our mobile app and testing it with a select group of users. We're seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in mobile app testing.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have built frameworks from 0 to 1 and have a strong understanding of mobile platforms, both iOS and Android, possessing a keen eye for identifying bugs and usability issues
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in manual testing and automation testing in a mobile environment, iOS and Android
Understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks that work cross-platform with iOS, Android, Web, Swagger, Firebase Console.
Experience with using API testing tools such as Charles or Postman
Proficiency in using mobile testing tools and simulators/emulators
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with social media platforms and food ordering systems.
Python scripting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met before releasing our mobile applications to users
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications
Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing on mobile applications
Identify, document, and track bugs using a bug-tracking system
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand new features and functionalities
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Report test results to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement
Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process and QA methodologies
