In collaboration with Hard.Coded, a leader in creating software development teams, we are assembling a high-performance team to deliver a groundbreaking product from the ground up. This project is not just about meeting expectations but exceeding them, setting new benchmarks for quality and innovation in the industry. About Role: We are seeking a skilled and driven SDE-II (Data Engineering) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, working with large, complex datasets. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and contribute to the architecture of our data systems, leveraging your expertise in tools like Databricks, Spark, and SQL. Roles and responsibilities Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks , Python , and Spark . Data Processing & Transformation: Handle large, complex datasets to ensure efficient data processing and transformations. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and implement data requirements. SQL & ETL: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Data Quality & Security: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle. System Design & Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable data systems and solutions. Required Skills and Qualification Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Databricks & Spark: Strong expertise in Databricks and distributed data processing with Spark . Programming: Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks. SQL Optimization: Solid experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries. Data Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems and tools. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Capital Market/Private Equity is a plus (relaxation may apply). Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau for creating insightful data visualizations and reports. Prefered skills Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS , Azure , or GCP . Data Warehousing & ETL: Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Analytics Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Amplitude , PostHog , Google Analytics , or Mixpanel . Additional Tools: Knowledge of Python for web scraping and frameworks like Django (good to have). Why join us?
