This role will be based in Bengaluru, India.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The Trust Engineering and Operations organization is responsible for keeping LinkedIn safe, trustworthy and professional.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to drive impact through successful strategy and execution of complex technical and operational programs, advancing engineering excellence, and managing product risks across LinkedIn. You will use your industry experience to manage, develop, and provide guidance to your team by way of managing a series of projects and programs within each individual's portfolio. You will use your communication skills to collaborate with a variety of people and job functions to manage your stakeholders and cross-functional partners. You will work with your team to drive clarity to ambiguous problems, outline a strategy,

and develop a project plan/charter as the operating model in navigating the projects. Based on the needs of our organization, you may be assigned to drive projects to meet the goals of the Trust org.

Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Lead and develop TPM team and manage the right mix of projects and programs in the portfolio
- Develop strong partnerships with engineering, operations, and product management leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives
- Interact one-to-one with individual technical contributors, senior leaders, as well as coaching teams
- Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning
- Leads efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths
- Mentor individuals in best practices for planning and execution
- Develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders
- Flexible to travel to different locations

Execution
- Manage TPM allocation and ensure portfolio and project health through resource allocation, prioritization, and focus
- Support multiple cross-functional technical and operational teams to deliver their objectives in fast-paced and complex programs and projects
- Manage and maintain project backlogs and ensure forward momentum with project execution
- Partner with Director+ level leadership on project execution and team efficiency

Craftsmanship
- Evaluate, champion and drive adoption of Agile methodologies throughout the team
- Help teams be more efficient, see the big picture, and ensure processes scale appropriately with the company
- Develop roadmaps and resource plans with leadership.
- Manage dependencies between multiple projects
- Assess and mitigate risk exposure

Basic Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A. Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years professional experience in an engineering or technical team, managing technical programs/projects
- 1+ years of experience in engineering/technical management and people management
- 1+ years of management experience or 1+ years of staff level engineering experience with management training

Preferred Qualifications:
- Leverage Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban)
- Practical and advanced theoretical understanding of managing the lifecycle of large-scale programs and projects
- Excellent communication skills: cross-functional and cross-organizational communication and attention to detail
- Experience with software engineering practices and familiarity with coding techniques
- Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization
- Successfully traverse tactical and strategic objectives
- Experience in planning and collaboration tools
