Job Tittle - EMC test engineer Experience : 1-5 years Educational Qualifications: Desired: B.E/ B.Tech Electrical/Electronics , M.Tech in Electrical/Electronic Preferred Industry - Automotive industry , Aerospace industry , Industry and power station , Engineering and technology service Location : Pune - Akrudi Key Responsibilities EMC Test Planning and Execution : Prepare detailed EMC test specifications in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Plan and conduct EMC tests, including emissions and immunity measurements, using specialized equipment and techniques. Design and Development Support : Collaborate with design engineers to ensure electronic systems and PCBs meet EMC requirements. Propose design improvements and implement best practices to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI). Simulation and Analysis : Use tools like LTSpice, PSpice, Ansys, and CST for EMI signature estimation and corrective action proposals. Analyze test results to identify improvement areas and optimize designs. Technical Expertise : Provide guidance on part-level and vehicle-level EMC certification tests. Ensure compliance with global EMC standards (e.g., CISPR 25, ISO 7637, ECE R10.5). Testing and Validation : Set up and operate EMC testing equipment, including spectrum analyzers, transient generators, and immunity chambers. Document and report testing outcomes, ensuring traceability and accuracy. Technology and Trends Monitoring : Keep abreast of emerging technologies and evolving EMC regulations. Develop long-term roadmaps and implement innovative solutions to meet future compliance requirements. Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to address EMC requirements during all phases of product development. Participate in troubleshooting sessions to resolve EMI/EMC issues effectively. Documentation and Compliance : Maintain detailed records of EMC test plans, procedures, and results. Ensure all designs and tests adhere to global regulatory standards.
