We are looking for a Senior Finance Associate to lead and optimize our finance operations. This role requires an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can structure, automate, and oversee financial activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. As the Finance Lead, you will manage two finance associates and coordinate seamlessly with our external CA firm. Your key focus areas will be financial accuracy, process automation, vendor payments, and compliance. Key Responsibilities : 1. Financial Oversight & Accuracy Oversee Tally updates, vendor payments, bank statements, and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Implement internal controls to minimize discrepancies and financial risks. Supervise vendor payment sheets and ensure error-free payouts. Ensure structured tracking and compliance for TDS, TCS, GST filings, and other statutory obligations. 2. Process Automation & Efficiency Identify and implement automation in payment workflows, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Streamline data handling, invoice tracking, and revenue recognition processes. Improve efficiency in expense tracking, petty cash management, and credit card reconciliations. 3. Compliance & Reporting Work closely with the CA firm to ensure timely GST filings, TDS adjustments, and ITR preparation. Oversee bank sheet preparation, UTR verification, and commission invoicing. Verify and finalize MIS reports (purchases, expenses, commissions) before submission. 4. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and mentor two Finance Associates, ensuring accountability and structured execution. Collaborate with operations, sales, and procurement teams to maintain financial accuracy. Monitor customer refunds, invoice checks, and dispatch tracker verification. Assist in MIS reporting and investor data tracking. Who You Are - CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent experience in an e-commerce startup. Strong in Advanced Excel (financial modeling, macros, pivot tables, automation). Experience with Tally, GST, TDS, vendor payments, and financial reconciliations. Proven ability to structure financial processes and automate workflows. Strong analytical skills with sharp attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
