Position Identification: Designation – Motion Graphic Designer/ Video Editor CTC Range- 2 - 4 LPA Location- Mulund, Mumbai Organizational Relationships: Reporting to – Graphic Design Head Position Overview: The Motion Graphic Designer/ Video Editor will be responsible for creating innovative, high-impact graphics , animation, and video edits for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, handheld electronic devices, web, and television, among others. The ideal candidate will have strong visual storytelling , creative design , and motion design skills, with the ability to transform scripts and concepts into engaging , dynamic visual content. This role requires collaboration with other creative professionals , including designers, editors, content writers, and directors, to create compelling and cohesive content that aligns with the client's vision and expectations. Key Responsibilities: ● Design and create visually pleasing and industry-leading motion graphics for video deliverables (social media creatives and advertisements, occasional corporate videos) ● Collaborate with clients , creative teams , and stakeholders to understand project scope and objectives. ● Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, typography , animation, etc., for graphic design . ● Edit raw video footage , add special effects /elements, and enhance motion design to create visually compelling content. ● Research and analyze best design techniques , emerging trends, and solutions to create standout motion graphics . ● Participate in brainstorming sessions to share innovative design perspectives and new creative ideas. ● Stay up-to-date with the latest graphic design , motion graphics , and animation trends, techniques, and tools. ● Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and high-quality design standards . Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design , Animation , Film , or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not mandatory. ● Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills , creative thinking , and motion animation expertise. ● Strong portfolio with examples of creative motion graphics , dynamic video content , and visual effects . ● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and other industry-standard design tools like Cinema 4D , Blender , etc. ● Excellent visual design skills , an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to communicate and articulate design concepts effectively to peers and executive-level stakeholders . ● Familiarity with special effects , 3D animation , compositing , and VFX is a plus. Personal Attributes: ● Creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box and push the boundaries of design. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. ● Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement feedback effectively. ● Excellent teamwork , communication, and collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle constructive feedback.
