We are seeking an experienced and driven

Senior Associate

to join our Private Equity team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage key aspects of the investment process, from deal sourcing and due diligence to deal execution and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing & Evaluation

:
Lead the sourcing and identification of new investment opportunities by actively engaging with industry contacts, intermediaries, and internal networks. Evaluate and assess investment opportunities, providing detailed analysis and insights on potential deals.

Financial Modeling & Valuation

:
Lead the creation and refinement of financial models, including, discounted cash flow (DCF), and other valuation methodologies. Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate the financial performance and investment potential of target companies.

Due Diligence

:
Oversee the due diligence process for potential investments, coordinating internal teams and external advisors (e.g., legal, tax, and accounting) to assess financial, operational, and strategic risks. Ensure thorough analysis and review of financial statements, projections, market trends, and business models.

Investment Memo Preparation

:
Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports for the investment committee and senior stakeholders. Clearly articulate the investment thesis, risks, and strategic fit of each opportunity.

Transaction Execution

:
Lead and manage the execution of private equity transactions, including negotiations, structuring, and working with legal teams to finalize deal documentation. Coordinate with external parties to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process.

Portfolio Management

:
Actively monitor the performance of portfolio companies, working closely with portfolio management teams to identify value creation opportunities and implement operational improvements. Provide strategic guidance to portfolio company executives to drive growth and maximize value.

Investor Relations & Reporting

:
Assist in preparing regular portfolio updates, performance reports, and other communications for investors. Help track key performance indicators and ensure portfolio companies are meeting agreed-upon milestones.

Mentorship & Team Leadership

: Mentor and guide junior associates, providing training and support in financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution. Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Market Research & Industry Insights

: Conduct ongoing research into industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Provide insights on emerging sectors, investment strategies, and market conditions to inform investment decisions.

Relationship Building

: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential deal sources, industry experts, legal and tax advisors, and other investment professionals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required). An MBA, CFA, or other advanced certifications are preferred.
Experience :
5-8 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field, with a strong focus on deal execution and financial analysis.
Experience in leading financial modeling, due diligence, and investment thesis development for complex transactions.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple investments or deals simultaneously and working under tight deadlines.
Skills :
Expert in financial modeling and valuation techniques, including LBO, DCF, and comparable company analysis.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software/tools; familiarity with databases such as PitchBook, CapitalIQ, or Bloomberg is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, investors, and external partners.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to think strategically and drive value creation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives, investors, and external stakeholders.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Preferred :
Previous experience in portfolio company management and value creation initiatives or with Big 4 firm in FDD.
