What Does Success Look Like As a Lead Frontend Engineer at Sprinklr, you will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and micro frontend architectures. Your contributions will shape the user experience and set new benchmarks in frontend excellence. Additionally, you'll represent our engineering efforts through conference talks, community engagement, and technical blog posts. What You'll Do Leadership and Team Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of frontend engineers to build high-quality products. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular code reviews to maintain best practices and code quality. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and promote continuous learning within the team. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences. Translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and coordinate scope with cross-functional peers. Proactively identify and mitigate cross-team dependencies. Technical Excellence: Drive architectural decisions, promote best practices, and ensure long-term maintainability. Guide teams in adopting new frameworks and libraries consistently. Architect and implement scalable frontend applications and micro-frontends. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and evaluate application performance across various devices and browsers. Profile and debug performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal load times. Implement advanced tooling and instrumentation for proactive performance tuning. Outbound Evangelism: Represent the team at conferences, technical meetups, and industry events. Write and publish technical blog posts showcasing innovations and thought leadership. Collaborate with marketing teams to highlight product achievements and engineering milestones. What Makes You Qualified Educational Qualifications and Experience: BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software engineering, specializing in frontend development with React. Technical Skills: Frontend Architecture: Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, including advanced JavaScript (ESNext), TypeScript for type safety, and bundlers like Webpack for optimized builds. CSS Mastery: Proficiency in modern CSS methodologies (SCSS, CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components and Emotion) for scalable, maintainable UI development. Performance Optimization: Proven track record in web performance tuning using React Profiler, Lighthouse, and Webpack Bundle Analyzer. Strong focus on fast load times, memory efficiency, and rendering optimization. Micro Frontend Architecture: Experience in designing and implementing scalable micro frontend solutions using frameworks like Next.js for SSR/SSG. CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI for automated testing and deployment. Cloud & Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable and resilient frontend applications. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Prior experience speaking at conferences, contributing to open-source projects, or writing technical content. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
