The Position

We're on the lookout for a talented Java Developer to join our innovative team in Brighton. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our Java-based applications that power our popular games. But there's more – this role offers the chance to expand your expertise into new areas, such as GoLang and microservices, making it ideal for a developer eager to grow and innovate.

Responsibilities

Develop & Innovate: Build and maintain high-quality Java applications while exploring opportunities to work with GoLang and microservices architecture.Collaborate & Create: Partner with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, framework engineers, and other departments, to design and implement new features that enhance our gaming platforms.Write Quality Code: Ensure your code is well-designed, efficient, testable, and adheres to best practices.Optimize Performance: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure our applications are scalable and performant.Engage in Agile Processes: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the team.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, gaining exposure to different technologies and approaches, ensuring that our projects benefit from diverse expertise and insights.Innovative Projects: Contribute to groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of gaming technology.
