Role Description
· Lead the coordination and planning of sales operations activities, ensuring seamless integration across departments and alignment with business objectives.
· Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and remove bottlenecks to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
· Serve as the primary liaison between leadership, sales, marketing, finance, project teams and others. Foster strong communication and collaboration to ensure smooth operational flow.
· Oversee the entire bid management process, ensuring seamless coordination from RFP receipt to proposal submission. Manage timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure all deliverables meet organizational standards and client requirements.
· Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to sales pipelines and bid activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Oversee the allocation and management of inventory, including laptops and other business assets.
· Guide and mentor new team members during their onboarding process, including asset allocation, ID provisioning, and role familiarization.
· Act as the critical point of escalation for any operational roadblock or issues, using problem-solving skills to find and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
· Ensure that all operational activities and bids are properly documented and compliant with internal policies and industry regulations. Assist in creating and updating SOPs, templates, and other process documentation.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and other departments, to ensure alignment and meet operational goals.
Experience, skills, education
· Bachelor/master's degree in business, Operations Management, Sales, or a related field.
· Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales operations, bid management, general administration & others. Demonstrated expertise in managing bid, and billing processes is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
· Skilled in recognizing operational inefficiencies and driving process optimization to enhance workflow, productivity, and overall performance.
· Proven experience managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and team cohesion.
· The ability to independently, proactively, and effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
· Ability to maintain a friendly, upbeat, and professional demeanor.
· Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, with the ability to independently manage processes like employee on boarding and other operational tasks efficiently is a plus.
· Ability to organize, facilitate, and participate in client and partner meetings or events, representing the organization professionally and effectively.
· Fluent in both written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
