Sugarfit is expanding rapidly across different cities of India and we are looking for experienced Data Scientists to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, backend engineers, and product managers to identify key healthcare challenges and develop AI-driven solutions.
Design, develop, and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract insights from complex healthcare datasets.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within healthcare data.
Implement data preprocessing techniques to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
Work on feature engineering and selection to optimize model performance and interpretability.
Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on models to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and healthcare informatics, and incorporate relevant techniques into our solutions.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for handling sensitive healthcare data.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (4+ years) working as a Data Scientist
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
Expertise in machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, etc.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.
