We are looking for a

Product Owner

to work closely with our Product Manager and cross-functional teams to define, prioritise, and deliver impactful features across our platform. If you have a passion for product development, strong analytical skills, and enjoy collaborating with engineers and designers, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of hospitality tech.

Role is a remote role currently but will be moved to Hybrid role later this year.

The Role
As a

Product Owner at Oolio

, you will be responsible for translating business objectives into clear and actionable product requirements. Working under the guidance of a

Product Manager

, you will manage product backlogs, work closely with developers, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features that align with Oolio's business goals.
This role requires a deep understanding of

agile product development

, strong communication skills, and the ability to

work cross-functionally

with engineering, design, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Backlog Management
Work closely with the

Product Manager

to define and refine the

product roadmap

and priorities.
Own and maintain the

product backlog

, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.
Write

clear, concise, and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements

.
Collaborate with the engineering team to

break down complex features into deliverable iterations

.
Ensure that all features developed meet

user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility

.

Agile Execution & Delivery
Act as the

bridge between stakeholders and the development team

, ensuring smooth communication.
Work closely with

engineering, design, and QA

to ensure on-time delivery of product releases.
Own

daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews

.
Prioritize and make trade-offs

between scope, quality, and timeline when necessary.
QA the features built before reaching the hands of the customer.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
Gather and

synthesize feedback

from customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to inform feature development.
Ensure

transparency

by keeping stakeholders informed on feature progress, timelines, and any roadblocks.
Work with

support and operations teams

to troubleshoot issues and provide clarity on feature functionalities.

Product & Market Insights
Conduct

competitive analysis, market research, and user interviews

to refine product direction.
Analyze

product metrics and user feedback

to continuously improve the product.
Ensure features align with

Oolio's long-term product strategy and business goals

.

What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience (upto 6 yrs only)

in a

Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role

in an agile environment.
Strong understanding of

Agile & Scrum methodologies

.
Experience working with engineering teams to

develop technical solutions

.
Ability to write

clear, well-structured user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria

.
Strong

stakeholder management and communication skills

.
Data-driven mindset with experience using

analytics tools

to measure product success.
Passion for

problem-solving, customer experience, and continuous improvement

.

Nice to Have
Experience in

hospitality or payments space
Familiarity with

JIRA, Confluence, and other product management tools

.
Understanding of

user experience (UX) principles and design thinking

.
