Role Description:

Senior Engineer

- Billing is responsible for executing monthly billing cycle activities including pre-bill distribution, invoice processing, submission, revision, and dispute resolution. They manage inquiries from clients and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner and appropriately resolved.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Preparing bill of quantities and contracting of work
Preparing bills for payments and estimating quantities and order of materials.
Analysis of rates of Non BOQ items.
Coordination with inter department to complete the task
Preparation of Change orders with Quantity Breakup and Rate Analysis for additional scope of work.
Planning the work execution and monitoring the daily activity of construction.
Inspecting the work as per the approved drawing and maintaining the record of inspection.
Record of executed work i.E. reports after execution, daily progress report.
Monitor and control actual expenditure with budget and ensure completion of the works within budgeted cost.
Ensuring timely Estimating and Billing.
Controlling and monitoring the wastage of manpower and materials.
Client Bill preparation, Checking Sub contractor bills and trackers etc
To check Quantities considered in the various contractors running account Bills.
Checking and approving the quantities for the extra items / Substituted items.
Checking and approving the rate analysis for the extra items.
Checking the final quantities and approving the quantities of the final bills.
Assisting Manager - Projects in reconciliation and certification of final bills of contractors, suppliers, vendors and consultants for the project.
Assisting Manager - Projects in Preparation of Project close out report and submitting the same to the clients for its approval.
Preparation of draft Abstract and certificate of payment and billing related Formats.
To interact with the Manager - Projects and Engineer - Projects to ascertain that certification as per drawing / proper execution as per plan.
Assist Manager- Project for Preparation of Monthly cash outflow statements.
Arranging for bank guarantees as and when required.
Preparation of Minutes of Meeting for Review Meetings.

Must Have Requirements:

Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Advance MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of SAP
Accurate with figures
Time bound
Strong with internal follow-up
