Your Role: Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities
As a

Senior Backend Engineer

at Untie-it, you will:
Design and implement scalable, high-performing software solutions using

Java

and

Spring Boot .
Leverage your understanding of cloud technologies to build robust, scalable, and secure systems.
Wear a

Product Manager hat

when needed – identify problems, design features, and deliver impactful solutions.
Collaborate with front-end and mobile development teams, contributing to the full product lifecycle.
Provide mentorship to Junior and Intermediate Engineers, fostering growth and removing blockers to their autonomy.
Participate in planning activities, perform thorough code reviews, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Build features that solve technical problems of high complexity, ensuring high-quality code and test coverage.

Qualifications
3–5 years of backend development experience

with a strong focus on

Java

and

Spring Boot .
A solid understanding of

cloud technologies

is a must.
Familiarity with

mobile development

is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field of study.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and design principles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
