We are seeking a Senior Database Architect with expertise in Presales, Solution Architecture, and TCO propositions for Database Management Systems, covering areas such as Cloud Databases, On-Premise Solutions, and Database as a Service (DBaaS). The candidate will be responsible for leading engagements with OEMs, defining winning strategies and propositions related to the database stack, and taking end-to-end ownership of proactive/RFP-based solution proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver on proactive/RFP-based solution proposals with a strong focus on value engineering.
Develop collaterals, industry trends, and points of view (PoVs), client visit presentations, and thought leadership articles.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Presales, and Alliance Teams to build relevant partnerships with major solution providers and service providers with complementary skills.
Conceptualize and develop frameworks, accelerators, or solutions for specific needs.
Conduct periodic reviews with the leadership team on service line operations, progress, and overall direction.
Technical Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience in solution activities: Proposal Creation, RFP response, Estimates, and preparing business cases for Database Migration, Modernization, and Transformation.
Collaborate with Delivery teams for Knowledge Repository Management, Case Studies, and Service.
Knowledge of designing database architectures and support models for the following areas:
Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
Cloud database solutions like Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud Spanner.
Security (encryption, access control, data masking).
Experience with database modeling and documentation software, with the ability to read and create database architecture diagrams.
Familiarity with a variety of database, cloud, and security concepts and practices.
Experience in database performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Strong presentation and written communication skills with the ability to present the value proposition effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified Database - Specialty.
Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
Extensive experience in database architecture, design, and implementation.
Proven track record in leading database migration and modernization projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with emerging database technologies and trends, including big data and analytics solutions.
Experience in developing and delivering technical training and workshops.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for database management.
