Construction Lead (Solar) (m/f/d)
Full-time employee, Gurugram

Profile Summary:

We are developing & constructing several solar projects across India. For Construction Lead, we are looking for a seasoned professional to manage planning, construction, and monitoring of multiple projects simultaneously (across India). The Construction Lead shall be responsible for progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis to complete Projects on timely basis. With every project and its uniqueness, the Construction Lead will be counted on to drive the innovation we're known for. Role & Responsibilities:

The Construction Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, quality and budget. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Here's a comprehensive job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the construction activities for solar projects from initiation to completion to handover.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, quality and resource allocation.
Collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, quality and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Oversee site inspections and address any construction-related challenges.
Provide technical expertise and resolve issues that arise during the construction phase.
Manage subcontractors, including scheduling, performance review, and quality assurance.
Prepare regular progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Monitor and control project costs, implementing cost-saving strategies where necessary.
Ensure all permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained prior to construction.
Conduct post-construction evaluations and closeout reports to ensure all project deliverables are met.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the construction team.
This position requires frequent travelling to site as per requirement.
Expert in handling local issues at site.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
12-15 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the solar industry.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, and budgeting.
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage large, complex projects.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in handling multiple solar projects.
Knowledge of local and international construction regulations and standards.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and quality.
