Financial Accounting & Reporting :
o

Lead and manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
o

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
o

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the CFO and senior management, including Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting & Forecasting :
o

Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted performance.
o

Work closely with department heads to understand business goals and provide accurate financial insights to guide decision-making.
o

Create financial models to forecast future growth, revenue, and expenses for planning purposes.
3.

Cash Flow Management :
o

Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure that the company maintains adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and growth initiatives.
o

Analyze payment cycles, optimize cash reserves, and manage debt to ensure financial stability.
4.

Internal Controls & Compliance :
o

Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting policies.
o

Coordinate with external auditors for the year-end audit and ensure timely completion.
o

Ensure compliance with VAT/GST, TDS, and other indirect taxes related to e-commerce operations.
5.

E-commerce Platform Integration :
o

Collaborate with IT and e-commerce teams to ensure that financial systems are integrated with online platforms (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, and order management systems).
o

Oversee financial reconciliation for sales transactions, inventory, refunds, chargebacks, and returns.
6.

Team Leadership & Management :
o

Manage and lead the accounts team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure accurate and timely accounting functions.
o

Conduct performance reviews, develop team members, and ensure that staff members stay updated with accounting best practices and relevant financial regulations.
7.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance :
o

Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant duties.
o

Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws, e-commerce regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring that the company remains compliant at all times.
8.

Financial Analysis & Strategic Insights :
o

Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights into the company's performance, identifying trends and areas for cost optimization.
o

Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and support the company's growth objectives.
9.

Stakeholder Management :
o

Serve as the point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial institutions.
o

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster financial collaboration and resolve issues effectively.
