This Indian company will be the Lexitas Global Capability Center, helping build a world class IT development team, and over time serve as a Shared Services hub for several of the corporate functions. This is a Full-Time Job located in Chennai, Indi a . Summary : The Senior Data Migration Developer for the Court Reporting Division at Lexitas will play a pivotal role in the migration of different business units to a common court reporting platform. This role involves collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to align data migration goals with business objectives and system capabilities. The Data Migration Developer will conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent before, during, and after migration. They will also identify and address duplicate, outdated, or incorrect data prior to migration to prevent errors in the new system. Automation will be key to the success of ongoing migration s. Essential Function s: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functio ns.Define migration mapping and migration staging struct ureManage the migration activities for multiple projects within the stipulated deadli nesResponsible for fixing issues raised because of Migrati onsParticipate in peer reviews of code and suggest coding best practi cesParticipate in brainstorming discussion to build better solutions for the custo merOther duties as assig n ed Competencies, Skills and Abiliti es:Actively demonstrates the values of SPIRIT (Service excellence, Positivity, Innovation, Respect, Initiative, and Teamwor k).Strong analytical and problem-solving skil ls.Possess es excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication ski l ls.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and marketi ng.Proven track record of migrating data between applicati onsThorough knowledge on ETL framework and should have worked with on ETL for at least 2 ye arsProficient with SQL and fundamental relational database conce ptsGood understanding of tools used for Version control systems and continuous integration to olsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to provide feedback to customers regarding their legacy data and help them in getting their data migra tedExperience in Enterprise Application troubleshoot ingExperience in designing and migrating workloads to an AWS Cloud environm ent Experience and Educat ion:Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related f ield8-10 years of experience senior data migration devel operProven track record of successfully delivering products that meet business and user n eedsExperience in the legal support services industry is preferred but not mandat ory.
