The Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for the creation of Power BI dashboards, data engineering and stakeholder management, The Usage Team operate as a service for the whole of Commodity Insights proving self-serve dashboards from a variety of data sources. This role will be working closely with Customer Experience, as well as Product, Digital P roduct, Commercial and Content teams

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder engagement :

This is a critical part of the role and requires someone adapt at dealing with a variety of stakeholders as they will be engaging with teams across CI

Regular cadences of meetings with teams across the business

Power BI development :

As one of the two main pillars of technical expertise in this role, previous Power BI experience to a high level is essential

D ata Engineering :

A strong knowledge of SQL and Python are also essential for this role

The usage Team houses it's own data so an ability to manipulate this data for consumption in both Power BI and as a form of data distribution to the business is also required

Data sources include Google Analytics, Salesforce, AWS, Redshift and many more

Proactive Outreach :

The Usage Team is now at the stage of wanting to provide analysis to the business.

Proactively engaging with business units to provide analytics and increase adoption of self-serve of usage dashboards.

Constant I teration :

The Usage dashboards have no end point, they are constantly evolving

Aside from stakeholder feedback, it is the duty of the Usage Team to iterate on the existing designs to better serve the business

Qualifications:

Experience : 5+ years of experience in data analytics or a similar role, with a strong focus on driving business outcomes through data insights.

Skills :

Stakeholder management

Coding proficiency in SQL and Python Power BI expertise

Strong communicator
