Janani Family Care (JFC) Private Limited is a Lower Liability Company (LLC), based in Delhi. JFC does social marketing of contraceptive and reproductive and sexual health products; JFC has collaborated with DKT International, Washington, D.C, USA and a number of donors to implement various Family Planning (FP) programs towards increasing the use of modern contraception for family planning. JFC is implementing a project funded by Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) with objectives of empowering women to make contraceptive choices about Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC), including sub-cutaneous implant and hormonal intra-uterine system (HIUS) . To achieve this, the aim is to strengthen access and provide training to clinical providers.

POSITION PURPOSE: A program officer acts as a liaison between a field team and program manager and its clients, including external parties such as distributors and providers. Although Duties, although not limited to, will include mapping and engagement of doctors, facilitating doctor training events across the designated state and maintaining comprehensive CRM database to deliver on project objectives.

JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Program Manager, the Program Officer is expected to proactively pursue improvements to their program and seek to maintain areas of excellence. The Program Officer has to plan, coordinate and implement the LARC project offered by JFC i.e., training, liaison with district health authorities, maintain and build long lasting relationships with health providers and FOGSI members where relevant, support training content creation and delivery and ensure quality training through event coordination. Program Officer will have responsibility for the administration of project in the respective states.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing the project on day-to-day basis at state level.

·

Hit the target number of medical professionals in the assigned territory to join the JFC network.

·

Liaison with Health Department, State Govt. and services providers and ensure alignment with the donor's requirements

·

Facilitate training for healthcare providers on regulations concerning LARC methods and facilitate logistics for clinical training in the territory

·

Ensure the supply of LARC products to the trained partners and CRM database is maintained

·

Maintain open and transparent communication with providers and FOGSI members of the project districts.

·

Establish and maintain good relationships with the wider project team, regularly communicating relevant information provided by the supervisor.

·

Support in preparation of IEC materials and dissemination through print & electronic media.

·

Build the organization's image among all stakeholders in the respective territories

·

Be the communication focal point for stakeholders in the district with regard to the project and where required represent JFC

·

Any other duties reasonably requested by the Program Director

Requirements

·

Minimum 5 years of experience as a successful medical representative

·

Outgoing, energetic personality with excellent communication skills

·

Superb negotiation and customer relationship management skills

·

Excellent training / coaching skills

·

Self-driven and passionate about achieving goals

·

Good liaising skill with gynecologists and knowledge of govt health department in your territory is an added advantage
