Should know supplier (stockiest) and manufacturer of Steel in India and abroad .
Should have overall import process knowledge
Must have purchase raw material – like steel –round bars , tubes etc
Should aware about BO ( standard items ) like fastener , o-ring , rubber items etc
SAP experience is must
Fluency in English communication –written and verbal
Knowledge of Microsoft office – Excel and Word
Over all market knowledge of Steel products – Round bar and tubes.
Main responsibility :
To Process Indent of RM / BO , local and import
Float inquiry to supplier , get quote , prepare comparison statement .
Release PO in SAP
PO approval and send approved PO to supplier
Follow up with supplier for on time delivery
Coordination with store for material receipt
Quality related complaint resolution in coordination with QA & Supplier
Monthly report of open PO and open indent
Follow up for shortage RM+BO as per monthly sales plan
Payment follow up with Finance
Knowledge :
