Nurturing Green (a brand recently featured on Shark Tank India-Season 4) is a fast-growing brand revolutionising the way people experience plants and sustainable gifting. From retail to e-commerce, quick commerce, and marketplaces, we are hustling our way up, building a strong, customer-centric, and execution-focused business.
We are now looking for a Business Head—a high-impact leader who will work alongside the Founder & CEO, taking ownership of key business verticals and driving scale, profitability, and operational excellence.
What You'll Own:
As the Business head, you will lead and drive strategy and execution across these major verticals:
Online Sales & Growth – Overseeing Marketplace (Amazon etc.), Quick Commerce (Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart etc.), and D2C (Shopify, brand website). Work closely with the Online Sales Head to optimize performance, scale revenue, and improve unit economics.
Offline Sales (Retail & Corporate Sales) – Work closely with the Offline Sales Head to drive in-store performance, optimize retail operations, and expand the brand's offline presence. Strengthen corporate sales by building long-term B2B relationships, acquiring key accounts, and unlocking new business opportunities.
Supply Chain & Operations – Manage end-to-end logistics, inventory planning, and last-mile fulfillment with the Head of Supply Chain. Ensure efficient processes, cost optimization, and service excellence.
Purchase & Vendor Management – Work with the Purchase Head to source products, negotiate costs, improve vendor partnerships, and maintain a robust supply pipeline.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned operator with strong execution skills and a proven track record in driving revenue, scaling operations, and managing P&L in fast-paced environments.
- Sales & growth-focused – You understand online sales, demand generation, and customer acquisition strategies for D2C and marketplace businesses. Also, understand offline (retail, corporate sales) strategies to drive business expansion
- A sharp negotiator – Comfortable handling high-stakes vendor and platform negotiations to improve margins and business terms.
- A team leader & relationship builder – Strong at managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and building a culture of high ownership.
- A problem solver & doer – Someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes charge, and gets things done with speed and precision.
- An intrapreneur/ex-entrepreneur mindset – You think like a business owner, thrive in high-growth environments, and are ready to scale a brand long-term.
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of experience in Sales, Operations, or General Management roles in D2C brands, Consumer Goods, or Startups.
Deep experience in online commerce (marketplace, quick commerce, and D2C).
Strong P&L ownership experience with a track record of driving sales & profitability.
Experience leading large teams and scaling high-growth businesses.
Ability to thrive in an execution-driven, fast-paced startup environment.
