Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and oversee the QA engineers, ensuring the effectiveness of test automation frameworks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices. As the QA Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers focused on test automation.
Provide guidance on test strategy, best practices, and tools to ensure high-quality automation solutions.
Foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment while ensuring team development and skill-building.
Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
Test Automation Strategy & Implementation:
Develop, refine, and execute the test automation strategy for the company's products, services, and internal tools.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to ensure robust and scalable test coverage.
Collaborate with development and product teams to define test plans, prioritize testing activities, and ensure alignment with release cycles.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Drive best practices in automated testing, and ensure they are adhered to across the team.
Promote a test-driven development (TDD) culture and champion the use of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
Quality Assurance Metrics & Reporting:
Monitor and report on key QA metrics, such as test coverage, defect rates, and automation progress.
Identify areas of improvement based on metrics, customer feedback, and industry trends.
Report on the quality of releases, ensuring transparency and effective communication with stakeholders.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage is aligned with business needs.
Coordinate with other QA teams to ensure consistency in testing approaches and seamless integration across different products and systems.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure testing priorities are aligned with development goals.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution:
Identify potential risks related to software quality and work proactively to mitigate them.
Ensure that critical issues are addressed quickly and efficiently, and that post-release defects are investigated and remediated in a timely manner.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, or similar.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and tools for automated testing.
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and working with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and experience working in Agile teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of successfully managing and leading QA teams in fast-paced environments.
