About the Role:

We are seeking a Workflow Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated workflows that optimize business processes. This role involves leveraging automation tools, scripting languages, and APIs to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business processes and identify areas for automation.

• Develop, implement, and maintain workflow automation solutions using tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, Zapier, Camunda, or Apache Airflow.

• Integrate automation solutions with existing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRMS, etc.).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand workflow requirements.

• Improve process efficiency by eliminating bottlenecks and reducing operational costs.

• Ensure automation aligns with business goals and regulatory compliance.

• Write and maintain scripts using Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for workflow automation.

• Develop API integrations between applications to ensure seamless data exchange.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and automation issues.

• Monitor automated workflows to ensure reliability and performance.

• Perform periodic audits and updates to enhance automation effectiveness.

• Implement logging, error handling, and exception management for workflows.

• Document automation workflows, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Provide training and technical support to end-users and stakeholders.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in workflow automation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in workflow automation, process automation, or a similar role.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, Zapier, Camunda, or Apache Airflow.

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.

• Experience with API integrations (RESTful APIs, SOAP) and database queries (SQL, NoSQL).

• Understanding of BPM (Business Process Management) principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in UiPath, Power Automate, or Camunda.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI-powered automation.

• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for workflow automation
