About the Team

The Space Planning Team focuses on optimizing the allocation of shelf and floor space in retail stores to enhance product visibility, create a seamless shopping experience, and maximize sales. The Visual Team looks over the Floorplan development which includes space changes and dept reflows in the store. We look at increasing or decreasing space for a category based on productivity and optimization to introduce a new category in the store.

The Planogram Team determines which products should be placed on the allocated shelf space, optimizing placement based on sales performance, customer decision-making tree, brand priorities and presentation guidelines.

Job Summary:

As a Planogram Manager, you will be responsible for driving effective product placement strategies and planogram execution that align with Lowe's merchandising objectives. · Ensure the team delivers Pogs to Build analysis, prep projects and deliver Store/cluster specific Space Planograms and solve store tickets as per the scope of the resets across PLR, BR, RBR, corp projects etc. · Ensure compliance with merchandising strategies, product adjacencies, and visual guidelines while ensuring quality & timelines (KPI)

Space Planning Expertise – Strong understanding of planogramming principles, category management, and shelf space optimization.
Process Management – Develop, implement, and streamline processes for efficient planogram build and updates.
Project Management – Ability to manage multiple planogram projects, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Collaboration and Execution – Work closely with cross-functional and global teams (Assortment Planning, Visual, Collateral, MST etc.) to execute planogram strategies.
Stakeholder Management – Build strong partnerships with local and global stakeholders to drive business results.
Tech Partnership – Partner with Product, DACI, Technology & Business teams to enable teams to drive efficiency & deliver flawless execution.
Change Management – Adapt to evolving business needs and drive innovative approaches to planogram and space planning processes.
Team Leadership – Hire, Assess, Retain and Develop associates to build high performing team and lead contractor teams to deliver pog builds.
Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement – Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving mindset within teams, focusing on process re-engineering and driving advancements in planogram automation or generation.
