We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile

AI Engineer

to join our team in the development and deployment of AI capabilities on our electro-optic devices and land platform MRO solutions. As part of the AI team, you will be responsible development of AI model and associated tasks.

Execution
Full-Stack AI Development
Develop and train AI models (object detection, classification, image enhancement) using deep learning frameworks.
Optimize and deploy AI models onto embedded systems
Develop and implement software solutions for data acquisition, preprocessing, and communication with AI models on embedded devices.
AI Stack Knowledge
Knowledge of statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms.
Computer Vision
Deep understanding of computer vision techniques, including object detection, image classification, and image enhancement.
Familiarity with popular CNN architectures (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD).
Experience with image processing libraries (OpenCV, PIL).
Experience with library frameworks like Tensorflow, Ultralytics.
Embedded Systems
Strong embedded systems development skills (C++, Python).
Familiarity with i.MX processors and NXP's development tools.
Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning).

Preferable Skills
Embedded Systems Expertise
Optimize AI model performance for real-time processing, low power consumption, and memory constraints on resource-limited devices.
Ensure seamless integration of AI models with existing hardware and software components.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI model performance on target hardware.
Data Science
Proficiency in data analysis, cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
Experience with data annotation tools and techniques.
AI Development
Optimize and deploy AI models onto embedded systems, specifically i.MX processors Nvidia jetson.
Job Specifications
Qualification
Min. qualification required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Other desired qualifications
Any AI/ML/Data Analysis certification would be preferred
Min. no. of years of relevant experience required
3-8 years of full-stack AI development experience, including data science, computer vision and embedded systems development

Knowledge and Skills Required
Demonstrated contribution to at least 3 successful projects involving AI deployment on embedded devices, showcasing expertise in overcoming challenges and delivering impactful solutions.

Please note this is not Data Scientist role, must have experience in computer vision with i.MX processors.
