Job overview As our DataOps Engineer II (Database Engineering) you will be responsible to design, implement, and maintain database infrastructure that powers our gaming ecosystem. This role requires expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL, and RDBMS to ensure high-performance, scalable, and reliable data systems. Job Location Gurgaon/Bangalore Key responsibilities Database Management Administer, optimize, and scale PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL, and other RDBMS Implement best practices for indexing, partitioning, query optimization, and replication Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks Data Pipeline & ETL Development Design and maintain data pipelines for efficient movement and transformation of large-scale data Work with ETL frameworks and tools for data ingestion, processing, and storage DataOps & Automation Automate database provisioning, backups, and monitoring using scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Implement CI/CD pipelines for database schema changes Security & Governance Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards Implement access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms Collaboration & Support Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support their database needs Troubleshoot and resolve database-related production incidents Qualifications & skills required 3-6 years of hands-on experience in database engineering and administration Expertise in PostgreSQL , with experience in MongoDB, MSSQL, and other RDBMS Strong knowledge of SQL tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies Experience with database replication, clustering, and high-availability configurations Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for database hosting and management Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data concepts Be a part of Junglee Games to: Value Customers & Data - Prioritize customers, use data-driven decisions, master KPIs, and leverage ideation and A/B testing to drive impactful outcomes.
