Crescent Innovation & Incubation Council (CIIC) is a university-based incubator at BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology. Supporting 121 startups in Life Sciences, Industry 4.0, and Smart & Clean Mobility, CIIC operates as a Section-8 not-for-profit company, functioning as a "One Stop Shop – Startup Incubator." It fosters a collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystem for students, faculty, industry, investors, government, and society.
Education —
B.Tech/M.Tech
Key Responsibilities:
· Building and managing defence startups and iDEX – DIO Team to drive innovation and develop local capabilities in the Indian defence sector. Key areas of focus include program operations, collaboration and partner management, qualitative and quantitative analysis, communication and outreach, documentation and compliance, and grant management.
· Designing and implementing various defence challenges, hackathons, and other activities for startups, MSMEs, and innovators to help them gain experience in innovation and capability building within the Indian Armed Forces and DPSUs.
· Ensuring effective outreach about iDEX and related projects through social and traditional media.
Required skills and qualifications
· Experience of working with the Armed/ Navy /Air Forces
· 2-4 years of Experience in iDEX Projects or Defence/Aerospace division
· Experience in dealing with the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
