Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager specializing in Application-Specific Integrated Circuit/System on Chip (ASIC/SoC) lifecycle management within the automotive semiconductor domain. The ideal candidate will exhibit an exceptional technical acumen, profound project management proficiencies, and adeptness in orchestrating diverse facets of project execution, including Product Life Cycle Development, Project and Program Process definition, Process Tailoring, Methodology development, and application. They will oversee Planning, Customer interactions, Vendor management, Legal and Licensing compliance, Negotiation, Costing optimization, Cross-functional technical leadership, cross-geo coordination, milestone gatekeeping, conducting weekly project/program meetings, resource optimization, executive reporting, Quality control, coordination with SW/FW teams, Manufacturing, OSAT, and industry relations.
Responsibilities:
Engage proactively with customers to grasp, document, and trace requirements throughout the Product Life Cycle Development phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with vendors, implementing tailored Project and Program Processes to secure essential services and resources promptly and maintain stringent quality standards.
Ensure meticulous adherence to legal stipulations, licensing agreements, and intellectual property protocols pertinent to semiconductor projects, employing Process Tailoring techniques as needed.
Facilitate seamless coordination among cross-functional technical teams by defining clear methodologies and application frameworks, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
Manage project activities across diverse geographical locations, navigating time zone disparities, cultural nuances, and communication barriers adeptly through Methodology development.
Orchestrate regular project meetings employing tailored Methodologies, fostering a collaborative environment for progress review, issue resolution, and goal alignment.
Develop and sustain detailed project plans, documentation, and reports utilizing specialized Methodologies to monitor project status comprehensively and optimize performance.
Deliver concise and insightful updates to executive leadership through Methodology-driven reporting mechanisms.
Establish and oversee Quality Control processes and establish a set of KPI's with the stakeholders to govern the execution milestones.
Coordination with SW/FW, manufacturing teams an OSAT teams.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of the semiconductor functions – Arch, u-Arch, RTL, Verification, DFT, DFD, PD, Post-Sil Val, SW, FW, Emulation, Virtual Prototyping, QC and Signoff.
Proficient in the different phases of our development and key signoff criteria.
Demonstrated knowledge in semiconductor design, verification, testing methodologies, and familiarity with automotive industry standards.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, essential for effective interaction with customers, vendors, cross-functional teams, and industry stakeholders. Ability to pass down strategic communications effectively and clearly to be able to control the project execution.
Proficiency in analytical and problem-solving techniques, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to establish and maintain rigorous Quality Control processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications throughout the project life cycle.
Capability to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively, ensuring project success and delivery within specified timelines.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and constraints, and flexibility to tailor processes and methodologies accordingly for optimal outcomes.
Meticulous attention to detail in planning, documentation, and reporting, ensuring thorough monitoring of project status and performance.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
