DevOps Architect (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform)- 8+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a DevSecOps Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.), Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, CI/CD, and security automation . This role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to architect robust DevSecOps strategies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive security, automation, and cloud adoption. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement secure AWS cloud environments , leveraging best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimization. Develop and enforce DevSecOps strategies , integrating security at every stage of the development lifecycle. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform to ensure consistency and efficiency. Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery using tools like Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline. Lead the deployment, scaling, and management of Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for containerized applications. Define and implement security policies , ensuring automated security testing, compliance monitoring, and threat mitigation. Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts (Python, Bash) for operational efficiency. Establish Git best practices , including branching strategies, repository management, and code review workflows. Implement and optimize monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and AWS CloudWatch. Collaborate with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to align infrastructure and DevSecOps strategies with business goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on DevSecOps best practices. Continuously assess and improve the cloud security posture and infrastructure reliability. Maintain detailed documentation of architectures, processes, and security policies . Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a DevSecOps Architect or Lead Engineer in cloud environments. Expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture best practices . Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration strategies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, etc.). Strong security expertise , including automated security testing, compliance enforcement, and IAM best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and infrastructure management. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud environments. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive cross-team collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with security tools such as Snyk, Aqua Security, SonarQube, Prisma Cloud . Knowledge of zero-trust security models, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001). Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CISSP . Benefits: Competitive salary with performance incentives.
