About the Job
– We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Network Routing & Switching, Cisco Meraki, and Azure networking. Relevant certifications are a plus and demonstrate your commitment to maintaining up-to-date skills in this ever-evolving field.

Senior Network Manager – Cloud & Infra (Palo Alto Specialist)
Location: All Birlasoft Locations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSE).
Minimum 8 -12 years of experience in networking and cloud networking.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage and operate both on-premises and cloud firewalls of Palo Alto.
Support on-premises network infrastructure, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Cisco Firewalls.
Analyze network flows, capture port-level details, and troubleshoot network issues. Attend to incidents and problems.
Raise change requests and follow through change management processes.
Coordinate with third-party support teams (e.g., Orange, Claranet) for network changes.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
Operate and implement changes for network and cloud network (Azure, AWS).
Implement and manage complex network security infrastructures.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure network security and performance.
Utilize Prisma cloud, Panoram services for network security and management.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop network flows between different firewall devices.
Monitor regular network flows and performance, and analyze results.
Identify network rules to be deployed when transitioning infrastructure from on-premises to cloud.
Participate in client change management procedures and CAB meetings.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in Palo Alto firewalls, including Panorama, with strong experience in networking on routing and switching.
Strong understanding of network protocols and security.
Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Cisco firewalls.
Knowledge of firewall management in Azure and AWS.
Basic understanding of cloud networking.
Ability to work collaboratively with cloud and third-party teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
