**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Create and manage Power BI data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel, cloud data sources (e.g., Azure), and APIs, using Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, ensuring that they can handle large datasets and provide real-time insights.
- Develop and implement custom calculations, measures, and KPIs using DAX.
- Create and manage Power BI workspaces, reports, and datasets, ensuring data security and access control.
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reporting and resolve any data discrepancies.
- Provide training and support to end-users, helping them interpret and interact with Power BI reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices, recommending new techniques and solutions to improve the reporting experience.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Data Engineers, Data Scientists) to ensure data integration and alignment with business goals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Power BI Developer or in a similar BI/reporting role.
- Strong experience with Power BI desktop and Power BI service, including data transformation, modeling, and report/dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices to deliver clear and insightful reports.
- Experience with connecting and integrating data from various sources, such as SQL databases, cloud services, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues.
- Knowledge of data security and access control features within Power BI.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
- Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake) and cloud-based data solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with custom visuals and embedding Power BI reports into other applications.
- Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
