Senior Clinical Data Science Lead

As a Clinical Data Science Lead you will be joining the world's largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence. **This is an on-site role requiring work from the office** Location : Bangalore, India Responsibilities Lead end to end data review activities performed on a clinical trial. Accountable for achieving clinical data science deliverables on-time, with high- quality and to agreed financial metrics. Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external team members regarding clinical data review activities and leads these data review activities to ensure delivery of data fit for analysis. Provides input into clinical system development activities and clinical risk management activities. Functional Knowledge: Good knowledge of clinical data science activities (Data review, risk management & analytics, clinical systems). Working knowledge of project management, including the predictive elements of timelines, resource requirements and financial tracking. Business Expertise: Understanding of protocol content and interpretation of critical data and data review requirements Ability to react and adapt requirements, processes and timelines in an agile manner. Tracks and keeps functional management and those responsible for project management informed of any issues that might affect project target dates, scope or budget and escalates potential problems effectively and in a timely manner. Works independently and with other project leads, as needed, to negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients and/or external customers, vendors and departments. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required Travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or international. Leadership: Functional Team Lead and primary point of contact for internal and external project team. Typically 4 years+ of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated. Strong leadership and project management skills. Embrace and contribute to a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes and adding value to the business and client needs. Travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or international. Problem Solving: Use existing procedures to solve problems where solutions are not readily apparent; analyze information and standard practices to make judgement calls. Impact: Establishes approach and leads resources to achieve operational and strategic plans. Impact is based on medium-term goals. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adapts delivery style to cater for knowledge and understanding levels of individuals or teams to ensure key messages and considerations are delivered without ambiguity.
