Client is well established in the region handling Metal recycling - mainly Aluminum scrap recycling to Ingots. Job location : Nigeria ( 1 hour from Lagos ) Job Responsibilities : To lead and oversee operations at our recycling plant in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Aluminium and recycling plant , strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing production, operations, and business development. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the overall operations of the Aluminium and Lead recycling plant, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Experience in handling Non Ferrous Scrap / Aluminium Scrap. Develop and implement strategies to improve production, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, supply chain, and sales. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to achieve targets. Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, raw materials, and machinery. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders. Drive business growth, explore new opportunities, and implement market expansion strategies. Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to achieve profitability. Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities to employees. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 15 years in a similar role within the metal or manufacturing industry. Leadership Skills: Strong management and decision-making abilities. Industry Knowledge: Experience in metal production, processing, or related operations. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions. Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Compliance: Understanding of local regulations, health, and safety standard Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
