Overall Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Development Team Lead to oversee a team of Java developers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery, developing and maintaining Java-based applications, and driving innovation through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Lead a team of Java developers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Develop and maintain robust Java-based applications and systems that meet business requirements. Design and implement scalable and efficient Java solutions, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation in product development. Software Requirements: Extensive knowledge of Java programming and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Experience in developing Java-based applications and systems, with a focus on performance and scalability. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Category-wise Technical Skills: Core Java Skills: Proficient in Java programming, object-oriented design, and development. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. Architectural Knowledge: Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud computing services and deployment strategies. Experience: At least 6-8 years of experience in Java development. Proven experience in leading a team of Java developers, including mentoring and training. Previous experience in delivering Java-based solutions for large enterprises. Day-to-Day Activities: Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing guidance and support in their technical tasks. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and project plans. Develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and systems, ensuring quality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact on projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product management, and operations, to drive innovation and implement new technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced certifications in Java development (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer) are preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, fostering a positive team environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
