Position Overview

In this role as Agile Product Management Advisor, you will facilitate the delivery of technology solutions for a defined group of capabilities or products within the Contact Center domain. You will partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, as well as your software engineering team on initiatives that support Cignas strategic goals centered on providing the best customer experience possible for Clients, Patients and internal users. This position will support the CSP product within the Contact Center domain and having experience and in-depth knowledge of the CSP product platform is critical to ensuring a smooth transition in light of high-profile current projects along with present growth demands for the Contact Center team. You will work in an agile environment, delivering user-oriented products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with business product owners and stakeholders to initiate new business initiatives and define product needs
  • Collaborates across functional, operational and technology groups to ensure the right people are engaged and assists with decomposition of work requests
  • Writes actionable user stories that deliver desired business impact
  • Owns and manages a prioritized backlog of features based on value and customer needs
  • Proactively resolve dependencies and resolve conflict effectively across teams for business initiatives
  • Drives process improvements through an understanding of the Product team delivery method and Agile methodology
  • Key partner in advancing Agile maturity of the Product team

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Proficient in extracting requirements from business and other cross functional teams
  • Experienced with Confluence, Jira.
  • Able to keep composure and handle priority changes frequently
  • Can handle multiple personalities and difficult situations
  • Managing Scrum and Kanban backlog experience
  • Has Excel experience to do macros, charts etc.
  • Microsoft tools experience such as PowerPoint

Required Experience & Education:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience working in an onshore/offshore model.
  • Experience working in technology or close engagement with Technology organizations preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with agile development process a must
  • College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in a Technical Product Owner role, writing user stories, requirements, story mapping, managing the backlog and roadmap.
  • Managing Scrum and Kanban backlog experience
  • Contact Center / Call Center familiarity or experience
