Job Title: Inhouse Endodontist

Job Description: Dental World Super Speciality Clinics is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Endodontist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Being open to new ideas and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in the field of endodontics
  • Reviewing patients' medical history and discussing their symptoms and concerns.
  • Utilizing dental instruments and x-ray equipment to determine the cause of patients' oral pain and discomfort.
  • Formulating suitable treatment plans based on the diagnosed dental condition.
  • Performing non-surgical root canal treatment to treat damaged or infected tooth pulp.
  • Performing endodontic surgery to clean canals that contain calcium deposits, assist in making accurate diagnoses, and treat damaged root surfaces or surrounding bone.
  • Performing apicoectomies to treat persistent inflammation or infection occurring in the bony area around the end of the tooth.
  • Maintaining teeth that have previously undergone root canal procedures.
  • Completing a comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and progress notes on each patient.
  • Assessing whether re-root canal treatment is required, and determining the number of sittings required for successful treatment outcomes
  • Performing re-root canal treatment with precision, and ensuring proper apical closure following adequate bio-mechanical preparation and obturation
  • Demonstrating proficiency in microscopic dentistry techniques
  • Possessing expertise in using apex locators and endo-motors
  • Analyzing and evaluating broken instruments in the canals and bypassing the broken files for better treatment outcomes
  • Being an expert in perforation repairs
  • Having a sound knowledge of materials and instruments required in endodontic procedures
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies used in endodontics, for e.g., obturation techniques
  • Follow up of cases in the Endodontic department
  • Following the General clinical and department SOP
Endodontist Requirements:

  • Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)
  • License to practice dentistry.
  • Minimum experience of 5 years.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good hand-eye condition.
  • A patient and empathetic disposition.
Job Type: Full-time/Monday-Saturday/10 am- 7 pm

Salary range: ₹35,000 and above, depending on experience and qualifications.
