Role: Senior PHP & Dev Ops EngineerLocation: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Office‑based)Experience: 5+ yearsType: Full‑time, PermanentWhat You'll Own:Core PHP Development: Design, build, and maintain PHP microservices and APIs that drive our backend business logic and integrations.Infrastructure & Scalability: Architect and operate AWS environments (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC) optimized for high availability, auto‑scaling, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency.CI/CD Pipelines: Build and enhance end‑to‑end automation for build, test, and deployment using Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI—enabling zero‑downtime releases.Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain dashboards/alerts in Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Watch, or similar tools to ensure 24×7 visibility into system health.Security & Compliance: Enforce best practices around network security, IAM policies, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with frontend and product teams; conduct code reviews; mentor junior engineers; help define engineering standards.Must‑Have Qualifications:PHP Mastery: 5+ years building production‑grade PHP applications.Dev Ops Expertise: Proven track record designing, deploying, and operating AWS‑based systems at scale (EC2, RDS, VPCs, Load Balancers, IAM, S3, Cloud Front, Route 53).Automation & CI/CD: Hands‑on experience building automated pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI) with testing, linting, and blue‑green/rolling deployments.Containers & Orchestration: Knowledge on Docker (bonus if you also know any orchestration platform: Kubernetes or ECS).Observability: Experience setting up dashboards/alerts in Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Watch, ELK/EFK or equivalent.Security First: Strong understanding of network and application security (encryption at rest/in transit, IAM policies, vulnerability assessments, secure coding).Scaling Mindset: Ability to design for performance, resilience, and cost‑effectiveness from day one.Collaboration: Excellent communication skills; experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Good‑to‑Have:Magento (1 & 2): Familiarity with Magento architecture and module development.Node.js Services: Experience building or maintaining Node‑based microservices or serverless functions.Monitoring Ecosystem: Exposure to additional observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk).
