Role OverviewAs an SDE-3 Blockchain Developer, you will lead design and development of decentralized applications, smart contracts, and core blockchain modules across various protocols (EVM-compatible and non-EVM).
You will set engineering standards, lead internal reviews, and collaborate with product, design, and Dev Sec Ops to ship scalable, secure blockchain applications.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and develop smart contracts, DApps, and on-chain protocols using Solidity, Vyper, or Move.Design and optimize cross-chain and Layer-2 interactions (e.g., Polygon, Arbitrum, Base).Lead code reviews and technical audits of smart contracts and off-chain components.Implement and enforce modular and upgradeable contract designs (using proxies, libraries, etc.).Collaborate with front-end, backend, and Dev Ops teams on full-stack decentralized applications.Integrate with wallets (e.g., Meta Mask, Wallet Connect) and third-party APIs (e.g., Fireblocks, Chainlink, The Graph).Mentor SDE-1/2 developers and drive knowledge-sharing within the team.Stay up to date with EIPs, protocol upgrades, and Web3 security patterns.Required Skills6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in blockchain/Web3.Strong expertise in Solidity and EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon).Familiar with smart contract development frameworks: Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle.In-depth understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus mechanisms, gas optimization, ABI encoding, re-entrancy, storage layout.Experience working with Node.js, Type Script, and backend API design (REST/Graph QL).Strong understanding of security best practices: smart contract auditing, attack surfaces, and secure upgrade patterns.Familiarity with blockchain indexers and event listening: The Graph, Moralis, Alchemy SDK.Strong Git/Git Hub workflows, CI/CD for smart contracts, and testing libraries (e.g., Chai, Mocha, Waffle).Preferred QualificationsExperience with zk-rollups (zk Sync, Stark Net) or non-EVM protocols (Solana, Sui, Aptos).Contributions to open-source Web3 projects or EIPs.Prior experience in crypto exchanges, De Fi, stablecoin, or NFT protocols.Familiarity with Fireblocks, Gnosis Safe, multisig flows, or custody integrations.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and on-chain/off-chain orchestration.
