Job Summary As a AI Solutions Developer specializing in the Appsmith low-code platform, you will architect, implement, and optimize next-generation internal business applications enriched with AI and intelligent automation.

Your primary focus is to leverage Appsmith's AI Studio—including cutting-edge LLM integrations and automation features—to deliver smart dashboards, adaptive workflow automations, and agent-based solutions that elevate operational efficiency and business intelligence.

You'll partner with cross-functional teams to translate real business challenges into scalable, LLM-enhanced applications, harnessing RPA methodologies to automate complex, repeatable processes.

Core Responsibilities: AI-Powered Application Development: Harness Appsmith AI to deliver sophisticated apps with intuitive natural language querying, smart widget recommendations, and AI-driven actions such as content generation, image recognition, and automated decisioning.

Seamless LLM Integrations: Integrate public and private LLMs (Open AI, Anthropic, Google AI, Llama3, etc.) to unlock capabilities like text summarization, semantic search, conversational agents, and intelligent data processing.

Automation & Orchestration: Design complex workflow automations guided by RPA principles, embedding LLMs for adaptive automation including dynamic error handling and process logic.

Data Connections: Integrate with diverse data sources (Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, REST/Graph QL APIs, Saa S platforms like Hub Spot/Twilio) to fuel real-time, AI-informed insights within business apps.

Scalability & Security: Optimize application reliability, scalability, and performance including minimizing LLM latency, ensuring high availability, and adhering to best practices in privacy and data protection.

Agile Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements, prototype solutions, iterate rapidly, and champion continuous feedback in an agile team setting.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation for AI features, LLM/RPA integrations, and best practices, fostering reusability, compliance, and rapid onboarding.

Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related discipline.

Professional Background: 3–6 years of proven software development, with 2+ years in low-code/no-code and AI-enhanced applications.

Experience with RPA tools (Ui Path, Automation Anywhere, etc.) strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise: Advanced skill in Java Script, SQL, and API integration for building custom AI functionality.

Demonstrated experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude) and their APIs for enabling generative and analytical features.

Solid grasp of Git for version control, branching, and team workflows.

Analytical Acumen: Strong problem-solving mindset; adept at debugging and delivering resilient AI-powered solutions.

Collaborative Communicator: Effective at interfacing with product, engineering, and business teams in virtual/hybrid environments.

Standout Qualities: Appsmith AI Specialist: Advanced proficiency in maximizing Appsmith AI's capabilities, including private/local LLM deployments and complex prompt engineering.

LLM & RPA Synergy: Demonstrated ability to orchestrate adaptive workflows that combine LLM intelligence with RPA for non-linear automations and greater flexibility.

Ethical AI & Security Focus: Deep understanding of privacy, secure API management, bias detection/mitigation, and trustworthy AI implementation.

Cloud-Native Deployments: Hands-on with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable cloud/devops tools for deploying and scaling AI applications.

Innovation & Open Source: Evidence of contributions to AI or open-source projects, early experimentation with emerging LLM or automation technologies.
