Purpose of the Position: As a Talend Data Engineer at Infocepts, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable data pipelines.Location: Pune/Nagpur/Bangalore/ChennaiKey Result Areas and Activities:ETL/ELT Solutions Development: Design, develop, and deploy ETL/ELT solutions both on-premise and in the cloud.Data Transformation: Perform data transformation using stored procedures to ensure data is accurately processed and formatted.Report Development: Develop comprehensive reports using tools like Micro Strategy and Power BI to support business decision-making.Documentation and Data Management: Create and maintain detailed documentation for data pipelines, configurations, and processes, ensuring data quality and integrity through effective management practices.Performance Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines, and troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues promptly.Essential Skills:Good experience in Talend Suit (Talend Data Integration, Talend Cloud)Good experience in Snowflake & Stored ProceduresExperience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modellingExperience with data quality frameworks, monitoring tools, and job schedulingKnowledge of data formats like JSON, XML, CSV, and ParquetAgile methodology & tools like JIRAQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field4+ years of experience in TalendQualities:Can influence and implement change; demonstrates confidence, strength of conviction and sound decisionsBelieves in head-on dealing with a problem; approaches in logical and systematic manner; is persistent and patient; can independently tackle the problem, is not over-critical of the factors that led to a problem and is practical about it; follow up with developers on related issuesAble to consult, write, and present persuasivelyAble to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team
